Harvard bests Yale in 'The Game'
Crimson clinches fifth Ivy League title
The Harvard football team clinched its fifth Ivy League title
outright with a 35-3 decisive dismissal of visiting Yale in the 121st
edition of "The Game" on Saturday (Nov. 20) at the stadium. The
Crimson earned a share of the championship a week ago with a 31-10
win over then-undefeated Penn, yet in beating the Elis (5-5; 3-4
Ivy), Harvard takes sole possession of the title and keeps its
perfect season intact. The Crimson finish the 2004 campaign at 10-0
(7-0 Ivy) - the program's seventh untied, unbeaten season in its
131-year history. The Quakers, meanwhile, beat Cornell, 20-14.
