Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Dec. 10. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Dec. 6: At Andover Hall, an officer took a report of ongoing harassment.

Dec. 7: Officers assisted the Cambridge Police Department at 65 Mt. Auburn St. in taking a report of an individual who had made threatening statements to another individual. An ID card was reported stolen from Hauser Hall. An officer took a report of harassment at the Barker Center.

Dec. 8: Officers were dispatched to Lowell House dining hall on a report of an individual causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers located the individual who was yelling and screaming. The officers requested several times that the individual calm down and leave the area, to which the individual refused. The individual was then run for warrants with positive results before being placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and warrant service. A cell phone was reported stolen at Hemenway Gym. Officers were dispatched to Adams House dining hall on a report of an assault. Officers arrived and spoke to the reporting individual who stated that they heard two individuals yelling, then observed an individual grab another person by the throat. According to the reporting individual, the victim was able to break free, and the assaulting individual was told to leave the area by the reporting individual, to which they complied. Officers report that management was notified of the incident.

Dec. 10: A suspicious e-mail was reported received at the Jefferson Lab. An officer was dispatched to 32 Mill St. to take a report of an unattended digital camera that was stolen.
