Freshmen strut fantasy runway

The third annual Freshman Costume Catwalk brought out the precocious brilliance of this generation of first-year students. Five hundred dazzling freshmen gathered in Annenberg Hall to get a chance to strut their costumed stuff on the runway. Not only freshmen attended this extravaganza, but celebrities as well, such as Tom Dingman, dean of freshmen, one of the judges of the event. Contestants competed in five categories: best group, best impersonation, best couple, most (tastefully) scandalous, and most original. As they watched the eye-popping runway walkers, the audience enjoyed pumpkin pie and candy apples.
