Peas in a pod

As part of former President Lawrence H. Summers’ ongoing portraiture project, the portrait of David L. Evans, senior admissions officer for Harvard College, was unveiled on April 19. S. Allen Counter of the Harvard Foundation presided over the unveiling of the portrait. The uncanny likeness is by artist Stephen Coit ’71 and hangs inside Lamont Library. Counter (from left), Evans, and Lumumba Seegars ’09, a member of the Black Men’s Forum at Harvard, share a laugh just moments after the portrait is revealed.
