Police reports


Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending Jan. 29. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Jan. 25: Portable media players were reported stolen from 164 Longwood Ave. and Hemenway Gym.

Jan. 26: An officer was dispatched to 1320 Soldiers Field Road on a report that a possible stolen motor vehicle had just been recovered. The vehicle was run through the system. It was determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen to the Boston Police Department on Jan. 20.

Jan. 27: An officer was dispatched to Memorial Drive and Akron Street to take a report of damage caused by a water main break to a construction site.

Jan. 29: Harassing phone calls were reported received at the Kennedy School. A hard drive tower was reported stolen at Fairchild Biochemistry Building.
