Tutschku

'Rojo' takes first prize

Gardner Cowles Associate Professor of Music Hans Tutschku recently won a first prize in the 2006 Musica Nova International Electroacoustic Music Competition for his work "Rojo." The piece was selected from more than 100 compositions representing 29 countries. The Society for Electroacoustic Music of the Czech Republic (supported by the Czech Ministry of Culture, Foundation Czech Music Fund, and the Music Foundation OSA, in cooperation with the Czech Music Council) sponsors the prize.
