Police reports


Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Oct. 2. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Sept. 28: Three pairs of headphones were reported stolen from the Biology Lab. Four pairs of jeans were reported stolen from 20 DeWolfe St.

Sept. 29: Damage to a fence was reported at 68 Cambridge St.

Sept. 30: A bicycle was reported stolen from Peabody Terrace.

Oct. 1: A bicycle was reported stolen at Leverett House Library. An officer was dispatched to Lowell House to take a report of a past assault where an individual was grabbed by the neck.

Oct. 2: Six 10-foot copper pipes were reported stolen from 40 Oxford St. At Harvard Institutes of Medicine, an officer took a report of a past suspicious activity regarding an individual vandalizing the area.

Crime Alert update: An arrest has been made in the Sept. 23 case involving an armed robbery in the Vanserg Building lot as a result of an investigation by HUPD detectives. The case is considered closed.
