Memorial services set for Bloch, Symonds
Herbert Bloch memorial service set for Oct. 21
A memorial service for Herbert Bloch, 95, Pope Professor of the Latin Language and Literature Emeritus, will be held Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. at The First Church in Belmont, Mass., 404 Concord Ave. (corner of Concord and Common). Bloch died Sept. 6 in Cambridge.
Symonds memorial service Nov. 13
A memorial service for Alan Symonds, technical director for Harvard College Theatre Programs under the Office for the Arts at Harvard, will be held Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. in Agassiz Theatre. Symonds died of heart failure on June 20 in Cambridge, Mass.
