Out with the old
At a half-day gathering titled 'Workshop on the Use of Technology in Teaching and Learning' at CGIS, a cross-disciplinary group discussed some of the latest technological innovations in education. In his presentation on the recordings of South Slavic epic song made in the 1930s by Homeric studies revolutionizer Milman Parry, Junior Fellow David Elmer displays a primitive phonographic recording.
