In brief

Free rides for blood drive givers

For its spring blood drive, the Massachusetts General Hospital Blood Donor Center is providing free transportation to and from the Harvard campus (or back to anyplace in Boston/Cambridge) for groups of three or more donors. The center (located at 55 Fruit St. in Boston) is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Donors must be 17 and have a photo ID. Free T-shirts will be given to all donors. Students, staff, and faculty should call (617) 724-9699 to set up an appointment.
