Royal Society of Edinburgh names Bailyn honorary fellow

The Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) recently elected Adams University Professor Emeritus Bernard Bailyn an honorary fellow. An independent, educational charity, the RSE elected more than 60 individuals to its fellowships (classified as honorary, corresponding, and ordinary) this month in honor of "extremely significant contributions to their fields and achievement in public service." Bailyn is a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner.

'Rock the Boat' event to honor HMS's Chabner

The Mattapan Community Health Center will honor Harvard Medical School (HMS) Professor of Medicine Bruce Chabner, who is also clinical director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, at its 10th annual "Rock the Boat" fundraiser April 29 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The Mattapan Community Health Center is a comprehensive health delivery organization that serves residents from Mattapan, Dorchester, Roxbury, and adjacent suburbs.
