Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Feb. 20. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Feb. 15: Officers were dispatched to 53 Church St. on a report of a suspicious individual reportedly attempting to steal computers. The individual was gone upon arrival. Officers were then dispatched to 44 Brattle St. on a report of an individual matching the same description attempting to gain access into the building. Along with the Cambridge Police Department, HUPD officers searched the area with negative results. Officers were informed that the individual attempted to gain access through the main entrance and then broke a window before fleeing the area. Two laptop computers were later reported stolen from 53 Church St.

Feb. 16: An unsecured digital camera and wallet were reported stolen from 124 Mt. Auburn St.

Feb. 17: A suspicious letter was reported received at the Barker Center. A bicycle was reported stolen at 1 Western Ave. An officer was dispatched to Standish Hall to take a report of a past domestic disturbance that occurred off campus. An officer observed an individual at 18 Kirkland St. who did not have authorization to be in the building. The officer conducted a field interview then ran the suspect for warrants with negative results. The individual then left the area at the request of the officer and was advised by the officer that complaints will be sought.

Feb. 19: An officer was dispatched to Weld Hall to take a report of a broken window.
