Sports in brief

Women's swimming & diving scores perfect 10

Host Harvard women's swimming and diving team sunk rivals Yale (252-67) and Princeton (203-116) in this past weekend's Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet (Feb. 4-5) to capture its second straight unbeaten regular season and Ivy League dual meet championship. With the wins, the Crimson improved to 10-0 overall (7-0 Ivy) while extending its dual meet victory streak to 20 straight heading into the Ivy League Championships at Blodgett Pool on Feb. 23-25.

Individually, sophomore Lindsay Hart was stellar, taking the 200-yard backstroke in 2:00.02 to top the previous school record of 2:00.15 set by her teammate Michelle Bright '06 three seasons ago. Prior to her second-place finish in the 400-individual medley on Sunday (in a time of 4:06.26), Hart had a hand in three other school record-setting performances.
