Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending Feb. 7. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Feb. 1: An unattended wallet was reported stolen from the Kennedy School. A watch was reported stolen from Shad Hall. A purse was reported stolen from the Science Center. Officers were dispatched to Loker Commons on a report of an unwanted guest. When officers arrived and conducted a field interview, the individual became agitated, began yelling, and refused to comply with the officers' requests. The individual was then placed under arrest for trespassing and resisting arrest.

Feb. 2: Damage to a motor vehicle was reported at University Place. Harassing e-mails were reported received at 29 Garden St. Officers assisted the Massachusetts State Police with a motor vehicle accident on Weeks Bridge.

Feb. 3: An officer was approached to take a report of a stolen box of occupancy sensor lights at the Warren Alpert Building. An unattended Memorex USB stick was reported stolen from Widener Library. Two unsecured laptops were reported stolen from 8 Story St. While taking this report, the officer was approached by an individual who reported the theft of a black cloth briefcase. A payroll check was reported stolen from the Littauer Center.

Feb. 4: An officer was dispatched to Emerson Hall on a report of a stolen projector. Officer reports it is unknown whether the projector was actually stolen or out for repair.

Feb. 5: Numerous bicycles were reported damaged at Cabot House. At Hastings Hall, an officer assisted the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) with the arrest of an individual in connection with a domestic disturbance. The incident is under investigation by CPD. An unattended IBM charger was reported stolen from the Spangler Building.

Feb. 6: A suspicious letter was reported received at Byerly Hall. An officer was dispatched to the Holyoke Center to take a report of stolen cash valued at $550.
