Course in reading, study strategies set to begin in mid-February
Beginning Valentine's Day through mid-March, Harvard's Bureau of Study Counsel (BSC) will be offering its spring Reading and Study Strategy seminar. Through readings, films, and classroom exercises, students learn to read more purposively, selectively, and with greater speed and comprehension. Sessions will be held Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (Feb. 14-March 16) at 8 a.m., and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Feb. 14-March 15) at 4 p.m. The cost is $150.

Lewis and Clark exhibit extends stay at Peabody Museum through 2006
The Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology has extended its exhibition "From Nation to Nation: Examining Lewis and Clark's Indian Collection" - originally scheduled to close this past December - through 2006. The exhibit commemorates the bicentennial of the legendary Corps of Northwest Discovery expedition. As the repository of the only remaining Native American objects acquired by the corps during its trek, the Peabody displays more than 30 objects of the era.
