All hands on deck
S. Allen Counter (bottom right), director of the Harvard Foundation, was in Stockholm when Hurricane Katrina made landfall. He got on the next flight home and started to organize relief efforts, gathering medicine and volunteers, including psychiatrists, undergraduates, and Vietnamese translators.
