'Movie Time' rolls out double feature in the Yard

Free admission, open to University community and their families

The fourth annual "Movie Time at Harvard" - a free, outdoor film screening presented by President Lawrence H. Summers - will be held Sunday (Sept. 25) at 7:15 p.m. in Tercentenary Theatre (between Memorial Church and Widener Library). This year's event will be a double feature. "Movie Time" is open to the entire University community and their families.

The undergraduates will choose the feature presentations by popular vote. "This is a terrific way to start the new year - with a good time and two terrific movies," said Summers.

Informal ground seating for "Movie Time at Harvard" will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Tercentenary Theatre, with the feature presentation, Pirates of the Caribbean, beginning at approximately 7:15 p.m. The second feature, Batman Begins, will begin at 9:30 p.m. Complimentary popcorn and sodas will be provided (no bottles or coolers will be permitted in the theater). Additional shuttles will run from the River Houses and the Quad.

Admission is free to individuals (and their guests) with a Harvard ID. In case of inclement weather, please call (617) 496-0306. Individuals with disabilities requesting accommodations should contact Marie Trottier, University disability coordinator, at (617) 495-1859 (v)/(617) 495-4801 (tty).
