Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week beginning July 12 and ending July 17. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

July 12: An officer was dispatched to Tosteson Medical Education Center to take a report of the theft of funds that were intended for an apartment rental. Officers were dispatched to Peabody Terrace on a report of two individuals taking bicycles and parts. Officers located the individuals, confiscated several bicycles and parts, and issued the individuals a court summons. An unattended wallet was reported stolen from the Bright Hockey Center.

July 13: A pickup truck was reported stolen from Dillon Field House. An unattended backpack was reported stolen from Robinson Hall.

July 14: A laptop, laser pointer, and computer accessories were reported stolen from the New Research Building. Officers were dispatched to the bike rack at Loeb Drama Center on a report of three suspicious individuals in possession of a bolt cutter. Officers located the individuals and checked them for warrants with positive results. One juvenile was taken into custody for warrant service. In the University Health Services garage, a parked motor vehicle was reported damaged by another vehicle that left the scene.

July 15: A messenger bag containing a CD player and T pass was reported stolen from Gund Hall. An officer took a report of various harassing phone calls at the Kennedy School. Graffiti was reported on the exterior of Buckingham House and on a wall in Radcliffe Yard. Unsecured and unattended cash was reported stolen from Byerly Hall. A book bag was reported stolen from Lyman Laboratory. Sixteen headsets and a metal briefcase were reported stolen from Loeb Drama Center. A checkbook and keys were reported stolen from the Science Center. Three backpacks were reported stolen from Fairchild Biochemistry Lab.

July 16: A backpack containing a camera, an iPod, and a passport was reported stolen from Memorial Hall.

July 17: A purse was reported stolen from Leverett House.

Since July 12, nine bicycles and one tire have been reported stolen.
