Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending May 30. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

May 26: An officer was dispatched to Hauser Hall to take a report of an unwanted guest. The individual was located and placed under arrest for trespassing.

May 27: Officers were dispatched to Thayer Hall to take a report of three individuals who piggybacked into the building. Officers checked the area with negative results. Officers assisted the Cambridge Fire Department in the cleanup of a chemical spill at 50 Cowperthwaite St. A bicycle was reported stolen from Pennypacker Hall.

May 28: An officer was dispatched to 1256 Massachusetts Ave. to assist the Cambridge Police Department with a possible fight in progress. Officers arrived and dispersed the crowd. While the crowd was dispersing, an individual struck another individual in front of an officer. The individual was arrested for assault and battery. A bicycle was reported stolen from Jordan Hall. A laptop was reported stolen from Thayer Hall.

May 29: At Leverett House, a vending machine was reported vandalized and two suitcases containing clothing, a Sony Discman, and CDs were reported stolen.
