Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending May 9. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

May 5: Items from a pocketbook were reported stolen at Memorial Church. Some items were later recovered at a Massachusetts Avenue establishment.

May 6: An officer was dispatched to Western Avenue on a report of a wanted motor vehicle. The officer checked the occupants for warrants. One of the individuals was placed under arrest for warrant service. A bicycle was reported stolen from Matthews Hall. Officers filed a report at Vanderbilt Hall regarding an individual who had assaulted another individual with a slap on the hand.

May 7: A wallet was reported stolen from the Malkin Athletic Center. Several harassing phone calls were reported received at 20 Prescott St.

May 8: A laptop was reported stolen from Moors Hall. Officers assisted the Boston Police Department (BPD) in the search of an assault and battery suspect in the area of Park Drive.

May 9: At 180 Harvard St., officers assisted BPD in the search of an armed robbery suspect with negative results. A laptop was reported stolen from William James Hall.
