Radcliffe crew captures Allen-DeWolfe Trophy

In its final dual of the season, Radcliffe heavyweight crew bettered BU and MIT on the Charles to retain the Allen-DeWolfe Trophy. The Black and White crossed the finish in 6:28.4, over 10 seconds in front of the second-place Terriers. Radcliffe is now 18-6 against BU in dual competition, a perfect 18-0 against MIT, and 9-2 on the season.

Erickson to head women's soccer

Former Crimson assistant coach Stephanie Erickson, a key recruiter for NCAA tournament teams at Stanford in recent seasons, has been named head coach of Harvard's women's soccer program. Erickson, who came to Harvard as an assistant for one season in 1999, replaces Tim Wheaton, who accepted an assistant athletic director position at Harvard in February.

W's tennis swings third straight perfect season

The No. 19 Harvard women's tennis team stumped visiting Dartmouth, 6-1, on April 27 to preserve its third-straight unbeaten Ivy campaign (7-0; 17-6 overall). The Crimson clinched the crown in its previous contest - a 6-1 victory over Brown on April 24 - to hand the program its third-consecutive title (and 16th all time), and an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament.

A visiting men's team, meanwhile, wrapped up its regular season with a convincing 6-1 win over the Big Green, also on April 27. The Crimson closed out their Ivy season with a 5-2 mark (13-10 overall) for a third-place finish behind Columbia and champion Brown.
