Green Campus Initiative launches new Web site

The Harvard Green Campus Initiative (HGCI) has launched a comprehensive new Web site highlighting green campus activities at the University. This online resource - available at http://greencampus.harvard.edu/ - aims to inspire and support the University community toward implementing Harvard's campus sustainability principles.

The site includes a new "Take Action!" section offering advice and suggestions on how to make Harvard a more environmentally sustainable campus. And to receive information on the latest green campus happenings and updates, HGCI has added a new sign-up feature for its quarterly electronic newsletter. HUDS to welcome famed 'Moosewood' chef Mollie Katzen

Harvard University Dining Services (HUDS) will welcome chef and author Mollie Katzen for an informative and delicious lunch on March 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Dudley Café. The menu will be inspired by Katzen's healthy recipes and prepared by HUDS chefs. Best known as the author/illustrator of the classic "Moosewood Cookbook" and "The Enchanted Broccoli Forest," Katzen will be on hand to meet diners, sign her books, and answer nutritional questions.

The Dudley Café is open to all members of the Harvard community and their accompanied guests. Standard menu prices apply for all food and beverages, and tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Plaque installation honors Schweitzer Award winners

A plaque honoring past recipients of the Albert Schweitzer Award was unveiled at a Feb. 23 ceremony in the lobby of the François Xavier-Bagnoud Building at the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH). These awards, inaugurated by the late HSPH Professor Jonathan Mann, recognize graduating students whose work most embodies Schweitzer's ethic of "reverence for life."
