Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Feb. 15. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

Feb. 8: A master key, cash, and an MBTA combo pass were reportedly stolen from the Harvard Institute of Medicine. Officers were dispatched to the Business School dorms to take a report of a past sexual assault (Jan. 14-15) by an acquaintance. The investigation is ongoing. A suspicious e-mail was reported received at Paine Music Hall. A harassing phone call was reported received at Hollis Hall. A bicycle was reported stolen from the rack outside Boylston Hall.

Feb. 9: Damage to a motor vehicle was reported at the Business School lot.

Feb. 11: A harassing phone call was reported received at Dudley Co-op. Officers were dispatched to assist CPD with a minor fire at 1 Plympton St. The fire was extinguished and HUPD units were cleared. Officers were dispatched to Andover Hall lot to assist Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) on a report of a moderate petroleum spill next to a dumpster. Officers roped off the area and EH&S cleaned up the spill. Officers were dispatched to the Yard to assist CPD in the search of a suspect wanted in connection with throwing hot liquid in someone's face on Quincy Street. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. A personal digital assistant was reported stolen from Gund Hall. An officer was dispatched to Peabody Terrace to take a report of an unauthorized withdrawal of funds from a debit account. An iPod was reported stolen from the Science Center. An officer was dispatched to 20 Prescott St. to take a report of a stolen rental deposit for an apartment. The investigation is ongoing.

Feb. 13: A wireless mouse, a webcam, and a pair of headphones were reported stolen from Gund Hall.

Feb. 14: A CD case containing software was reported stolen from 260 Longwood Ave. A laptop was reported stolen from 1414 Massachusetts Ave. Cash from a wallet located in an unsecured locker was reported stolen at the Malkin Athletic Center. Several suspicious phone calls were reported received at Ames Hall. A report of unauthorized withdrawals from a debit account was filed at the Cronkhite Graduate Center.
