Alvin Poussaint
Positive influence
For more than 30 years on the faculty of Harvard Medical School, Alvin Poussaint has helped mold it into a more diverse, broad-minded institution - and through his years of work on "The Cosby Show," he did something similar for the nation. On Feb. 12, Poussaint's family, friends, colleagues, former students, and others whose lives he has touched - including Bill Cosby and James Taylor - will gather to celebrate his contributions.
