At a Kennedy School Forum on Tuesday night (Feb. 8), San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom reaffirmed his commitment to allowing same-sex couples to marry. San Francisco began marrying gay couples last February, and in August the California State Supreme Court ruled the unions illegal.
