Heard but not seen
On Dec. 1, the cupola of Cabot House began resonating with a selection of computer-generated bell sounds programmed into a laptop. Hans Tutschku's creation, 'The Invisible Bell Tower,' includes bells from Avignon, Kyoto, and Apolda, Germany, the 'City of Bells.' Above, Ean White, technical director at the Harvard University Studio for Electroacoustic Composition, installs the equipment. (Staff photo Kris Snibbe/Harvard News Office) Full story
