Star remembered
The Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics will hold a celebration of the life and science of Fred Whipple on Dec. 4 at the Science Center. Speakers include professors Owen Gingerich (CfA), Charles Lundquist (NASA/Huntsville, Ala.), Zdenek Sekanina (Jet Propulsion Laboratory), and Joseph Veverka (Cornell University).
