A nationally known commentator and journalist focusing on medical and health-care policy issues, Johnson holds joint positions in medicine at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. The founding editor of the Harvard Medical School Health Letter, he is also the author of "Dr. Timothy Johnson's OnCall Guide to Men's Health," and, with former Surgeon General Dr. C. Everett Koop, co-author of "Let's Talk." In addition to his work for ABC News, Johnson is assisting minister of the Community Covenant Church in West Peabody, Mass. He recently published a spiritual memoir, "Finding God in the Questions: A Personal Journey," which will form the basis of his lectures.

The William Belden Noble Lectures were established at Harvard University in 1898 and claim an impressive roster of past lecturers including Theodore Roosevelt, H. Richard Niebuhr, Sen. Eugene McCarthy, and Archbishop of Canterbury Robert Runcie. The Noble Lectures are free and open to the public.
