Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending May 15. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

May 9: An officer was dispatched to Tuchman Hall to take a report of a stolen laptop.

May 10: An officer was dispatched to Mather House on a report of a digital camera that was stolen from the dining hall. A jacket was reported stolen from Houghton Library. An officer was dispatched to Eliot House to take a report of the fraudulent use of an ATM card.

May 11: An officer was dispatched to 219 Western Ave. on a report of an abandoned Ryder truck. The truck was reported stolen, and was retrieved by a Ryder representative. An individual came into HUPD headquarters to report the fraudulent use of a credit card. Officers were dispatched to 45 Shattuck St. on a report of harassment. After the victim identified the harassing individual, the officer assisted with the issuance of a civil restraining order. A report of missing Palm Pilots was filed at William James Hall. An investigation was initiated. An officer was dispatched to Pierce Hall to take a report of a bag of tools taken out of a pickup truck. In the area of the stadium, an individual was identified and taken into custody for trespassing and drug possession.

May 12: A bicycle was reported stolen from the basement bike rack of Adams House.

May 13: An officer responded to the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Shepard Street on a report of an individual struck by a truck. The Cambridge Police Department was notified and responded.

May 14: An officer was dispatched to take a report of an affiliate receiving harassing phone calls at the individual's residence and at the Sackler Museum. An officer was dispatched to 77 Avenue Louis Pasteur to take a report of a stolen pocketbook. The pocketbook was later located but cash and a check were missing. An individual was taken into custody at JFK Park for drug possession.

May 15: A bicycle was reported stolen at Eliot House.

Since May 9, four wallets have been reported stolen.
