Hand-crafted life
When Elisabeth Newman was laid off from a job in the financial sector, she poured herself into her art, earning a B.F.A. in 1999. She now works part time as a preservation assistant in the Harvard Fine Arts Library, leaving herself plenty of time for her own textile creations.
