HARVARD GAZETTE ARCHIVES
HARVie set to launch on Feb. 18
Beginning Feb. 18, HARVie - Harvard's new intranet resource for employees - will be up and running. At harvie.harvard.edu, University employees will be able to report time and labor, find out about benefits and services, access PeopleSoft, and get the latest University announcements. Employees will also be able to purchase tickets via credit card from Outings & Innings, and access "Harvard in the News," the daily clipping service.
In addition HARVie will offer digital "brochures" dealing with a variety of topics relevant to the workplace. Compensation information for human resource administrators will be available, for example. Topics like "solving workplace problems" will be covered for the benefit of employees, and "how to hire" for managers.
To gain access to HARVie, you will need your Harvard ID number and a PIN (the same one used for PeopleSoft). If you don't have a PIN, visit http://www.pin.harvard.edu to get one.
