HBS students named Toigo Foundation FellowsThirteen MBA candidates acknowledged as exceptional minority finance studentsAs an academic partner of the foundation, HBS is invited to nominate exceptional ethnic minority students for consideration as Toigo Fellows following their acceptance to the MBA program. This year, the foundation received more than 300 nominations from 16 MBA programs, and selected 49 based on academic excellence, leadership potential, and students' commitment to pursuing careers in finance. "Our goal is to change the face of finance by increasing the presence of talented ethnic minorities in business leadership positions," said Nancy Sims, president of the Robert Toigo Foundation. "Working with top business schools and finance leaders nationwide, we are making inroads." Each Toigo Fellow will receive a merit-based award, support from professional coaches and mentors, introductions to internship opportunities, and leadership development training to complement his or her MBA curriculum.
