Oct. 1: A purse was reported stolen at Holyoke Center. Checks were reported stolen at 2 Mt. Auburn St. Officers dispatched on a report of a chemical spill at 77 Avenue Louis Pasteur. A personal digital assistant was reported stolen at Langdell Library. Money and credit cards were reported stolen from Yenching Library. Oct. 2: A restraining order violation was reported at the School of Public Health. A report of vandalism was filed at Lowell House. Mail was reported stolen at 95 Prescott St. Officers assisted BPD with traffic control. A motor vehicle was reported stolen at the Hingham Street lot. A check and credit card were reported stolen at 95 Prescott St. Oct. 3: Personal items from a motor vehicle were reported stolen at Broadway Garage. An officer assisted the Cambridge Police Department with a motor vehicle accident. A wallet was reported stolen at Teele Hall. An officer was dispatched to 16 Mellon St. on a report of a person acting suspiciously. The individual was arrested for possession of illegal substances. Oct. 4: An officer took a report of a stolen wallet at Pforzheimer House. Vandalism was reported at 1 Western Ave. Since Oct. 4, three bikes and two laptops have been reported stolen.
