Faculty Council
At the Faculty Council's second meeting of the year President Lawrence H. Summers discussed opportunities for the University presented by the recently acquired property in Allston. Sally Zeckhauser, vice president for administration, was also present for this discussion. Prior to this conversation the council heard a report from Nancy Maull, executive dean of the faculty, and David Zewinski, associate dean for physical resources and planning in the faculty, on current and anticipated FAS construction projects in Cambridge, and a more general discussion of space planning from Dean William Kirby (history and FAS).
The council will next meet on Oct. 15. The preliminary docket deadline for the Oct. 21 Faculty Meeting is Monday (Oct. 6), at 9:30 a.m.
