Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the weeks beginning June 8 and ending July 5. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

June 8: A purse was reported stolen at Eliot House. Officers assisted the Boston Police Department (BPD) with the investigation of a person vandalizing vehicles at 829 Beacon St. Officers assisted the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) with a motor vehicle violation at Dunster and Winthrop streets.

June 9: Officers observed a person throw a brick through a window at the Harvard Lampoon. The party was arrested. Purses and household goods were reported stolen at Leverett House Towers. A laptop computer was reported stolen at Greenough Hall.

June 10: A report of a past assault was filed at Loker Commons. Officers assisted BPD with a medical call at 706 Huntington Ave.

June 11: Officers were dispatched to 24 Oxford St. on a report of inappropriate sexual behavior. The party was arrested. On Dunster Street, officers assisted CPD with a past assault and battery. Threatening phone calls were reported at Holyoke Center. Officers were dispatched to Dunster House Dining Hall on a report of a stolen credit card.

June 12: An officer stopped two parties for trespassing at HUPD headquarters. Both parties were in possession of stolen property and hypodermic needles. The parties were arrested.

June 13: Officers assisted CPD with a motor vehicle violation on DeWolfe Street. Officers dispatched to Newell Boathouse on a report of an unwanted guest. Subject was checked for warrants and arrested for warrant.

June 15: Officers assisted CPD with the investigation of a fight. A laptop was reported stolen at Peabody Terrace.

June 16: A motor vehicle accident was reported at the BSCH lot. A laptop, camera, and credit card were reported stolen at Teele Hall. A laptop was reported stolen at the Barker Center. Vandalism to a motor vehicle was reported at Peabody Terrace Garage.

June 17: A credit card was reported stolen at Teele Hall. Air conditioners were reported stolen at 85 Prescott St. A wallet was reported stolen at the Alpert Building.

June 18: Harassment was reported at 51 Brattle St.

June 19: Officers assisted BPD with a medical call at 70 North Harvard St.

June 20: Computer equipment was reported stolen at the School of Public Health, Building 4.

June 23: A sign on Shepard Street was reported vandalized. A computer was reported stolen from Morgan Hall. A Palm Pilot was reported stolen from Hawes Hall. A wallet was reported stolen from the Belfer Center. Officers assisted the Massachusetts State Police with apprehending a wanted suspect. Hockey equipment was reported stolen from 10 DeWolfe St.

June 24: A wallet was reported stolen at Tosteson Medical Education Center.

June 25: Harassing phone calls were reported at 1414 Massachusetts Ave. Money was reported stolen at Briggs Hall.

June 26: Officers settled a dispute between two individuals at 2 Divinity Ave. A backpack was reported stolen at Gund Hall.

June 27: Officers assisted the Boston Fire Department and Harvard's Environmental Health and Safety Office with a chemical spill at 30 Harvard Way.

June 28: Officers arrested an individual for vandalizing a street sign at 1350 Massachusetts Ave. Another individual was arrested for trespassing. A laptop was reported stolen at Peabody Terrace.

June 29: A camera was reported stolen at the Warren Alpert Building. A wallet was reported stolen at Weld Hall.

June 30: A fax machine was reported stolen at the Taubman Center.

July 2: Bicycle parts were reported stolen at Peabody Terrace. A purse was reported stolen at 54 Dunster St.

July 3: Laptops were reported stolen at Holworthy Hall.

July 5: A laptop was reported stolen at Peabody Terrace. A camcorder was reported stolen at Johnston Gate.

Ten bicycles have been reported stolen since June 8.
