HARVARD GAZETTE ARCHIVES

In brief

Poster day registration

Faculty and students of the Harvard School of Public Health (SPH) are invited to participate in the 17th annual Poster and Exhibit Day, to be held March 13 in the Kresge Building cafeteria. Prepared by students or by a team including students, the posters and exhibits offer the SPH community an opportunity to learn more about the research and service activities being carried out at the School. The best posters will be eligible for a $500 prize.

Space is limited, so early registration is recommended. To sign up, visit the Web site at http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/academicaffairs/posterday/pd2003.htm. The registration deadline is Feb. 28.

Harvard Neighbors seeks Harvard artists

The Harvard Neighbors Art Committee will hold its annual review for Harvard-affiliated artists interested in applying to exhibit their work during the 2003 - 04 academic year. Faculty and staff and their spouses or partners are encouraged to apply. Portfolios will be accepted March 3 - 5 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Harvard Neighbors office, Loeb House, 17 Quincy St.

For more information, call (617) 495-4313.
