Faculty Council notice for Jan. 22

At its eighth meeting of the year the Faculty Council reviewed with FAS Dean William C. Kirby a draft of his "Annual Letter to the Faculty." The council also discussed with Associate Dean Jeffrey Wolcowitz (undergraduate education and economics) a proposed early course selection system. Finally, the council heard a report, from Wolcowitz, on the steps being taken to implement the faculty's legislation of May 7, 2002, on study abroad.

The preliminary docket deadline for the Feb. 11 Faculty Meeting is Monday (Jan. 27). The Faculty Council next meets on Wednesday (Feb. 5).
