Faculty council notice for March 20

At the Faculty Council's 11th meeting of the year, Professor William Fash (anthropology) and Professor William Kirby (history) presented the Report on Study Abroad prepared by the Faculty's Standing Committee on Out-of-Residence Study.

The Council also heard a report on the HR Project, presented by Karen Davis, project director. Deans Cheryl Hoffman [Finance] and Geoffrey Peters (Administrative Resources) were present for this discussion. In addition, the Council considered the Faculty's Affirmative Action Report for the calendar year 2001.

Nomination ballots for this year's Faculty Council Election will be mailed today, March 21, to be due back Friday, April 5. Final election ballots will be due Friday, May 10.
