Center for Ethics accepting fellowship applications

The Center for Ethics and the Professions is accepting applications for 2002-03 residential faculty fellowships in ethics. Fellows will participate in the center's weekly seminar, conduct their own research in ethics, and enjoy access to a wide range of activities and opportunities in all of Harvard's professional schools.

Teachers and scholars who hold a doctorate or professional degree are eligible to apply. The application deadline is Dec. 1. For more information, contact the center at (617) 495-1336.

Math tutors needed for grade-school students

Cambridge School Volunteers Inc. (CSV) is currently recruiting math tutors for fall 2001. Volunteers are needed to help grade-school students with addition, subtraction, and problem-solving skills. Training, supervision, and support from a former classroom teacher will be offered to all volunteers. No teaching experience is required. Call CSV at (617) 349-6794.
