Radcliffe fellows online

Ten fellows from the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study talk on camera about their work and their fellowship year in a new videostream feature launched this week on the Radcliffe Web site.Through in-depth videotaped interviews, these scholars, scientists, and artists reflect on their projects and research this academic year, the challenges they have faced, and their achievements as members of Radcliffe's multidisciplinary community. They also speak about the impact the fellowship has had on their lives.

As personality psychologist and Radcliffe Fellow Brian Little describes it, "Being at the Radcliffe Institute this year has been magic for me. It has allowed me to do some reflection on my own scholarly activities. It's given me the chance to interact informally, and sometimes formally, with colleagues and fellow fellows who are extraordinary in their diverse skills, their peculiar brilliances."

The other nine Radcliffe fellows showcased on the site are marriage researcher and therapist Constance Ahrons, historian Virginia Drachman, sociologist Lisa Dodson, filmmaker Charlene Gilbert, dancer and Harvard religious scholar Kimerer LaMothe, novelist Sue Miller, physicist Elizabeth Simmons, poet Natasha Trethewey, and ethnic psychologist Joseph Trimble.
