Re-creating history
A group of nine United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) art/art marketing staff and students came to the Peabody Museum to study artifacts from its Lewis and Clark Journey collection. The artists have been contracted by the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation to create museum-quality reproductions of the artifacts. Susan Haskell (left), collections associate at the Peabody Museum, uncovers a battle lance to show Butch Thunder Hawk, UTTC research and authenticity expert.
