NOW President Jill Ireland got personal in her remarks at the Women's Leadership Summit held last weekend at the Charles Hotel and sponsored by the Kennedy School of Government and the American Bar Association. Ireland opened the summit with candid recollections about her job as a "stewardess," her road to becoming a lawyer, and her frustrated efforts to promote an equal rights amendment for women.
