Volunteer at the Peabody

The Peabody Museum at the University is looking for a volunteer to help with public relations activities for at least three hours per week. Duties will include mailings and telephoning. For more information, call Monni Adams at (617) 495-8789.

Mendelssohn String Quartet to perform

The Mendelssohn String Quartet - the Blodgett Artists-in-Residence - will perform works by Schumann, Piston, and Mendelssohn on Friday, March 2, at 8 p.m. in the John Knowles Concert Hall. The concert is free and open to the public but tickets are required. Tickets can be obtained from the Harvard Box Office beginning Friday, Feb. 16. Call (617) 496-2222.

SPH Poster Day registration

Faculty and students of the Harvard School of Public Health (SPH) are invited to participate in the 15th Annual Poster and Exhibit Day, to be held on Thursday, March 8, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Kresge Building cafeteria. The posters and exhibits, to be prepared by students or by a team including students, will offer the SPH community a chance to learn more about the research and service activities at the School. The best posters will be eligible for a $500 prize.
