HARVARD GAZETTE ARCHIVES Rockefeller Fellowships Awarded
The Michael C. Rockefeller Memorial Fellowships Administrative Board has awarded fellowships to five graduating Harvard College seniors. Rockefeller Fellowships contribute $14,000 toward a year of purposeful postgraduate immersion in a foreign culture for candidates at critical stages in their development who feel a compelling need for new and broadening experience. The five recipients are Sarun Charumilind of Leverett House and Chesterfield, Mo.; Sarah Kalloch of Kirkland House and South Hamilton, Mass.; Carl "Larry" Malm of Leverett House and Blue Hill, Maine; Charisa Smith of Eliot House and Lawrenceville, N.J.; and Sinead Walsh of Winthrop House and Dublin, Ireland.
