Dean Harry R. Lewis presents sophomore Onyinye Ijeoma Iweala with a copy of The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin during the Detur Prize ceremony at Memorial Hall on Dec. 13. This year, 169 students received a Detur Prize, which is the oldest prize in Harvard College. The top students of the sophomore class select a hardcover book of their choice, which is embossed with the Harvard and Detur seals and presented to them at the reception. Photo by Kris Snibbe.
