Happenings at Harvard

Workmen recently applied a new copper roof to the Bright Hockey Center. The small protruding metal paddles on the roof are designed to grip snow, preventing mini-avalanches. Photo by Kris Snibbe.

Lewis and 25 other Board and staff members were hosted by University Disability Coordinator Marie Trottier. Photo by Kris Snibbe.

More than 50 University Dining Services staffers, their families, and guests gathered last month for a four-hour bake-off in which 1,000 pies were created in a volunteer effort for the nonprofit group Community Servings. The nonprofit sells the pies to support services for Boston-area people who are homebound with HIV or AIDS. This was Dining Services' fifth year baking for the fundraiser. Photo by Kris Snibbe.

Unseasonably mild temperatures last week had Leila Ayachi '03 chipping onto the "green" in front of Canaday. Photo by Jon Chase.
