Women's Leadership Award Nominations Due
The Harvard College Womens Leadership Award honors a junior or senior at Harvard College who has demonstrated exceptional leadership affecting women while attending Harvard, achieved meaningful impact on fellow students, and exhibited a potential for leadership in future endeavors. The undergraduate award is given in conjunction with a cash stipend. In order to be considered for this honor, each candidate must receive a nomination by a faculty person, staff member, administrator, or student in the form of a letter of recommendation submitted to the Harvard College Womens Leadership Award, c/o the Office of Career Services at 54 Dunster St. There is no limit to the number of nominations that one person may make. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, Dec. 3. The Leadership Award will be presented at a special ceremony in April in conjuction with the presentation of the Harvard College Womens Professional Achievement Award. This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership affecting women in his or her professional field and has used this leadership position to benefit his or her community. All eligibility and selection procedures for the Achievement Award are determined by the Dean of the College, the Assistant Dean of the College, and the Executive Board of the Womens Leadership Project.
