President, Provost to hold office hours in December

President Neil L. Rudenstine will hold office hours for students in his Massachusetts Hall office on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 4 to 5 p.m. Provost Harvey Fineberg will hold office hours in his Massachusetts Hall office on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 4 to 5 p.m.

American Rep’s student programs supported

The American Repertory Theatre’s student programs will be more accessible and visible this year as a result of the sponsorship of the PaineWebber Group Inc. Programs available to students include student matinees, student rush tickets (tickets are discounted 30 minutes before a showing and sold to students), and student passes (sold at one-third the average ticket price). AIDS, artistic expression subject of Harvard panel

"Art for AIDS’ Sake: Is the Disease Still a Valid Metaphor?" is the topic of a panel discussion to be held on World AIDS Day 1999, Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. in Loker Commons. Sponsored by the Harvard University Arts Committee on AIDS (HUACA), the panel will include artist/curator Kathy Bitetti, artist/activist Jay Critchley, choreographer/dancer Tommy Neblett, and writers Michael Bronski and Cate McQuaid. HUACA was established in 1993 to generate Harvard student, faculty, and staff involvement in artistic projects addressing HIV infection and the AIDS pandemic. Tribute to late music professor Kim slated

A tribute to Earl Kim, the late James Edward Ditson Professor of Music Emeritus, will be held at New York City’s 92nd Street Y, 1395 Lexington Ave., on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. Kim’s music will be performed by members of the International Sejong Soloists as well as by Kim’s daughter, Eva Kim.
