Provost to hold office hours for students

Provost Harvey Fineberg will hold office hours for students in his Massachusetts Hall office on Wednesday, Nov. 17, from 4 to 5 p.m. Office hours are held on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dining Services wins ‘best concept’ award

Food Management magazine recently named the residential dining customer service program at University Dining Services as the best in the on-site food industry.

The magazine will feature University Dining Services in an upcoming issue.

University Health Services to hold reception for seniors

University Health Services (UHS) will hold a reception for retirees on Wednesday, Nov. 17, to provide information on the Harvard University Group Health Program (HUGHP) Senior Plan.

Along with written information on a variety of health care topics, there will be an opportunity to get free flu shots and blood pressure readings. Representatives will be on hand to talk about wellness programs, nutrition, the pharmacy, and case management.

The reception will take place in the Monks Library at UHS (second floor) between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Reischauer Institute to offer postdoctoral fellowships

The Edwin O. Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies is offering an array of postdoctoral fellowships, graduate and undergraduate student fellowship support, and summer research travel funding in the field of Japanese studies.

Student Programs Endowed American Repertory Theatre

The American Repertory Theatre’s student programs will be more accessible and visible this year due to the sponsorship of Paine Webber Group Inc.

Programs available to students include: student matinees, student rush tickets, student passes (sold at one-third the average ticket price), and The Island of Anyplace.

Faculty Club to present lobster menu
