Booth to Sell Harvard Arts and Athletic Events Tickets

The former BosTix at Harvard ticket booth has been reorganized to create one central campus venue to sell tickets exclusively to Harvard events.

The Harvard Box Office, a service of the Office for the Arts at Harvard and Radcliffe, will be located at the Holyoke Center Arcade and will sell tickets to student arts and athletic events beginning Tuesday, July 20.

"The new booth will give us a more visible and accessible location to sell tickets to all Harvard events from one central location," said Eric C. Engel, a senior manager with the Office for the Arts. "We think it will be a more convenient way to bring the arts not only to the Harvard community but also to the general public."

The Harvard Box Office will handle advance ticket sales – a function formerly performed at Sanders Theatre – at the new location in the Arcade. The Harvard Box Office at Sanders Theatre will be open only to sell tickets to Sanders Theatre events prior to performance time (5 p.m. for evening events and noon for matinees).

The former BosTix at Harvard booth, which sold tickets to selected Harvard events, closed its windows July 1 to concentrate its resources on ArtsBoston member services while retaining its booths at Faneuil Hall and Copley Square.
